Memories of Our Incredible Costa Rica Honeymoon

February 23rd, 2010 . by admin

The other day my wife and I was watching some of our old Costa Rica honeymoon videos and we were reminded of how incredibly amazing the trip was. I mean it was almost like paradise on earth and for that 2 weeks we were truly carefree and simply enjoyed what nature had to offer. Images of pristine beaches, lush forest, stunning sunset and friendly people all came to our mind when we talked about Costa Rica. For a small nation, Costa Rica certainly has a lot to offer, every town and beach is unique and offers a different experience to the visitors.

We had the opportunity to visit some of the most fabulous places when we were there. One of them was non other than the Nicoya Peninsula which is located on the Pacific coast and part of Guanacaste province. The boot shaped peninsular certainly is home to some of the best places for honeymoon in Costa Rica. We visited both Tambor and Montezuma Costa Rica. They are neighboring cities located on the bottom edge of the peninsular. Though quite similar in terms of landscape and weather because they are so close but they have different attractions that set them apart from one another. Well first of all Montezuma doesn’t have any landing strip so if you are flying there, you need to land in Tambor and from there take a rented car or coach to Montezuma. Tambor is a quite little town to relax and unwind. The sea is calm  and safe for swimming even for young children therefore the place is also popular among families. Montezuma Costa Rica on the other hand offers about the same thing but on the weekend, it is transformed into the best place to party on this part of the country. Throngs of tourists and locals alike will flock to this town to join the parties and the parties are usually extended all the way to the beach in the wee hours of the morning!
