The Cayman Islands is composed of three different islands known as the Cayman Brac, Little Cayman and the most popular and biggest of the three which is the Grand Cayman. There is a reason for the popularity of this place. Aside of course from the fact that it is the biggest of the three and the main center for everything, there are numerous attractions that you will find here.
One of the biggest Grand Cayman attractions around is the Boatswain’s Marine Park. This 23 acre park is filled with different sea life for you to observe and learn about. There is the turtle farm which is home to around 11,000 green turtles. You will also find an aviary where various species of birds can be observed and interacted with. At this famed marine park you can also enjoy other activities and good food. It is something that the whole family can enjoy.
Next on the list for attractions in the Grand Cayman is the Atlantis Submarine Adventures. This will let you experience what it is like to be underwater without even getting wet. Be just like scientists and other professionals exploring the underworld as you travel through the sea in a submarine. This unique experience will take as far down as 100 feet where all the coral canyons are.
No trip to this island would be complete without visiting the National Gallery of the Cayman Islands. Here you’ll learn everything that there is about the island and its art. It has a library and permanent collection which you can view. Of course a souvenir shop is also available for you to be able to take home a bit of the place with you.
Lastly, don’t forget to visit the Pirate’s Cave and Mini Zoo if you enjoy pirate adventures or have children with you. Take a trip down under to the caves where pirates were said to hide their treasures. You can also take a nature walk and enjoy some animals in the mini zoo.
