My Idea of Great Family South Coast Accommidations
May 12th, 2010 . by adminMy husband has been asking me what I want to do for a vacation this summer. So I decided to see what I could find out on the Internet. I found a lot on there from cabins up north, to south coast accommodations. One problem I have is that a few years ago I told my family that camping was not a vacation for me, by the time I do all the work to get things ready to go, I’m exhausted, then we go and I prepare all the meals and still work the whole time. When we get home I clean up the mess and am glad to get back to normal life. So now they want me to decide what we will do. I know they care and want me to enjoy myself too. They are even more helpful about getting ready and help cook and clean up now. So I really can’t complain much anymore.
So I looked at some south coast accommodations like, Beach Houses, Cottages, and places like that. They range in price from $78.00 up per night, and can accommodate from 2 to 12 guests. They look so peaceful and relaxing, but with all the modern comforts of home. Some are fully furnished too. I really don’t think that is a bad price to pay and think I could really enjoy something like that myself. I still have 5 children at home and 3 are full grown boys who need “food” for it to be a good vacation to them. They really work up an appetite playing hard.
The Cottages, and Shacks are nice looking. Some are close to the beach and some are more in the bush-lands. So If your looking for something to do that the whole family can enjoy and make the wife happy too, I think south coast accommodations could be your answer. Take it from a wife who has done a lot of camping and loves the outdoors. Besides I think I’d like to see Australia. It sounds romantic, with or without the kids.
With south coast accomidations you can even go in the off season when it’s not so busy and it really doesn’t matter because it’s still warm enough to enjoy. We have gone on vacation as late as November and it was really nice. We like backpacking, hiking, fishing, and water skiing. It looks like you could do all of that there. I’ve never been out of the U.S. except to Mexico twice so I think maybe it’s time to try a south coast accommodation in Australia for a change.
