Exploring the Possibilities of Presentation Products
December 23rd, 2011 . by adminAfter preparing for last year’s presentation for weeks, our business did not get the response it expected. We hoped to make a lasting impression on most of the attendees. In the long run, we only got a couple of new clients from the presentation after talking to dozens of interested people. This year, I decided to consult with a marketing expert to get a few suggestions. He told me to explore the possibilities of presentation products to revamp our approach.
Soon I realized presentation was as crucial as providing a good product and service. We always had lots of information to share but visitors might soon forget who we were. At crowded presentations, everyone is clamoring for attention and we wanted to be heard. I was amazed at the relevance of presentation materials such as boxes, cases, binders and folders. Our large products did not make it possible to give out samples. But we decided people needed to have plenty of background info to review to make an educated decision.
After shopping around, I chose presentation books to give out at the expo. The books were bound just like treasured publications at the library. Inside I offered a wealth of knowledge about our type of products and what they do. It was a timeless guide for users to get the facts and make good choices. The cover of the book had our company name and logo. Within a few days of the expo, several new clients connected with our business and we are still getting calls.
